Description
Clarity & Cut
Inclusions in natural colored stones are a positive indicator of authenticity, distinguishing them from synthetic materials. Clarity plays a crucial role in determining a gemstone’s value, alongside color, cut, and carat weight.
Fine gemstones generally have inclusions that are not visible to the naked eye, while lower-grade stones may have inclusions noticeable from certain angles. We take high-resolution photographs from multiple angles without editing, ensuring transparency about the stone’s interior. However, a detailed study may reveal additional internal characteristics. For a closer representation of the gem’s true appearance, we recommend requesting a short video clip under natural light.
Traditionally, colored gemstones are cut in a “mixed” style—featuring a brilliant-cut crown and a step-cut pavilion. The “cut” is synonymous with precision, where gemstones are cut to maximize brilliance and color rather than yield. Some items in our collection retain their original “local” cut, preserving their natural character. Additionally, certain crystals are left in their raw, unfaceted form, exactly as nature created them.
