In fine-quality sapphires, inclusions are typically not visible to the naked eye, while more affordable stones may show noticeable inclusions from certain angles. Our high-resolution, unedited photographs display each stone’s true characteristics from multiple perspectives. Colored gemstones are commonly cut in a “mixed” style—featuring a brilliant-cut crown and a step-cut pavilion. The “cut” ensures maximum brilliance and color by optimizing proportions, often at the cost of yield. Some stones in our collection retain their original “local” cut, preserving their unique charm. Additionally, certain crystals are left in their natural, unfaceted form, just as they were found in nature.
